About the Item
This is a majestic life size metal horse with hand embellishment. The head and the legs are welded on to the body. Standing steadily and tall, the horse has been hand embellished with gold that has been embedded in the metal. An intricate design wraps around the body and legs. A saddle painted on the top of the horse retains its own design. The neck is embellished with flowers and additional decor. The reigns have been added on as decoration as well and the mane which has its own distinct circular patterns. As I have researched this I have learned quite a bit regarding the making of this horse. I am not sure how to gage the age of the work but it is a real work of art that required months to fabricate by very skilled craftsmen. I am guessing at the age of this piece.
