About the Item
Beautiful, and large, vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso glowing Uranium yellow green with dark olive head Italian art glass hummingbird sculpture. It stands on a clear ball base. Attributed to designer Livio Seguso, and the Salviati company. The bird is nicely sculpted, with a large red dot on the center of his chest, like a heart. The bird almost glows by itself in normal daylight with such a bright color, but under a black light you can really see how it lights up with a bright neon green color. Would make a great display piece on any desk, curio cabinet, or console table. The piece is solid glass throughout and very heavy. Great item for the collector of Uranium "Vaseline" glass. Measures 8 7/8” tall x 6 1/4" long x 4” wide.
