About the Item

Pair of two-tone metal waders. The body is made of anthracite-colored metal. The long legs, which allow these birds to move forward in shallow waters, are made of gilded metal, as are the beak and base. These two migratory birds pay a beautiful tribute to their fellow birds of marshes, estuaries, and coastlines. ******** Period: 1940 Excellent condition.
