About the Item

Lost wax casting. Base in marble. On the square base rises a rock formation treated so that it resembles ice in and snow. Above it, the polar bear is placed, which stretches its head towards the front providing movement to the work, which stands out for its naturalism. This type of bronze sculptures of small size were very appreciated in the 19th century and even then the theme of animals (wild or domestic) stood out." Size: 17 x 28 x 36 cms.
