Portuguese Brass Bull Sculpture
About the Item
Brass bull sculpture. With an aged finish that combines dark tones and golden brass details. The sculpture depicts a bull in an attacking position, with its head slightly raised, nostrils open and muscles well defined, conveying a sense of strength and grandeur. The curved horns and arched tail reinforce the realism of the figure.
The texture shows meticulous detail, the wrinkles in the skin, the muscle contours and the stylised coat reinforce the dynamic and expressive look of the piece. The hooves, horns and tail are lightly polished in gold, creating a contrast with the predominant dark colour of the body.
The bull is a symbol of power, resistance and courage, often associated with Iberian culture and the bullfighting tradition. Pieces like this are appreciated as decorative elements or themed collections linked to bullfighting.
