1920s Hubley 'Charleston Dancers' Doorstop by Anne Harriet Fish

This very rare and desirable antique Hubley 'Charleston Dancers' #270 cast-iron doorstop by Anne Harriet Fish (1890-1964) is a prize catch for collectors or those interested in starting one. This scarce doorstop from the early 1920's is signed by Fish on the front base. And, this piece has the original paint intact showing the correct colors and patterns to the dancer's dress. Anne Harriet Fish was a British cartoonist and illustrator during World War I and the early 1920's. She produced a limited number of cast iron doorstop designs for Hubley.
