About the Item

This wonderful pedestal has a solid pine twisted column over a rectangular base. The rectangular top features a molded skirt. Base and top plate are blackened, the twisted column is very dark brown. The whole pedestal is finished in beeswax and has a very rustic feel. It originates in France and dates approximately 1880. The base platform is 17.32 inch wide and 16.54 inch deep. The top is 14.96 inches wide and 14.57 inch deep. The whole piece has been cleaned in our workshop and made solid again. A fresh protective wax coat was applied.
