Imposing white marble sculpture of a nude bather sitting on a rock, looking to the sky or the horizon, in a posture that is both gentle or meditative The base, which has remained raw in its texture, contrasts with the finesse of the polished body. Unfortunately, this marble is not signed, but was surely sculpted by a seasoned artist: it demonstrates here a great refinement in the sculpture of expressions but also a great mastery of his technique in the volume (sculpture of a single block).
