About the Item

Orientalist bronze with a brown patina, representing an Arab in motion, a rifle in his hand, hiding in the folds of his clothing. This sculpture is signed on the base Miniati and bears the mention "Firenze" Augusto Miniati is an Italian artist from Tuscany (1885-1971): he studied at the Institute of Decorative Arts and the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. In the 1920s, he participated in the creation of monuments commemorating the death of students from Tuscany during the 1st World War. In 1926, he was named honorary member of the Academy of Drawing Arts Good general condition Height 46 cm 30 x 30cm approx
