About the Item
Beautiful and elegant, vintage Murano hand blown pink, white and gold flecks Italian art glass matching pair of woman and man figurines / sculptures. Created in the manner of the Barovier e Toso and the Fratelli Toso workshops. The figures are greeting each other as if they are going to start dancing together. They are created in a similar technique as the "Eugenio" style by Barovier. Both sculptures have pasta white accents, as trim and decoration on their dress. They are profusely covered with heavy gold leaf throughout. Each detail piece on the figures, their heads and the bases all have gold. They would make great display pieces on any vanity, credenza or curio cabinet. You will be able to showcase them as decorative pieces in any room. Mid-century era. Measurements: The Woman figure is 8 3/8" tall x 3 1/8" wide at the base. The Man figure is 8 5/16" tall x 3 1/8" wide at the base.
