Sculpture, original plaster for the Monument of Maréchal Foch by Robert Wlerick, 1936. Robert WLERICK (1882-1944) Monument of Maréchal Foch, sketch, 2nd state, circa 1936. Studio plaster. Unsigned. This work was produced in collaboration with the sculptor Raymond Martin (1910-1992). With this sculpture, the two sculptors were the winners of a competition for a monument honouring Maréchal Foch. The statue was erected on the Place du Trocadéro. Provenance: artist's studio by descent.
