Absolutely stunning French chisel cast Patinated Bronze Classical standing scantily clad Cherub. Mid to late Nineteenth Century. Holding aloft a single ormolu candlestick holder, complete with its original firm fitting drip pan, ending on a very decorative circular bronze base above a socle, ending on a plain bronze support. Condition: Good condition with nice surface patination, ormolu has been professionally cleaned, during its lifetime has been converted to an electric lamp, but now back to its original. Width: (at base) 4.25" (10.25cm). Depth: (at base) 4.25” (10.25cm). Height: (entire as shown in image one) 12.5" (31.5cm). Location: Dublin City, Ireland.
