Rare black coral on a pyrite crystal base with a fossilized seashell.
Black coral is a unique and extremely slow growing coral typically found at extreme depths.
The piece was put together by Jean O'Reilly Barlow, the artist and creative director of Interi. The combination of the glittery silver pyrite and the alluring shape of the black coral creates anorganic modern sculpture.
