A Gorgeous, intact Agate with Blue and White Laces, this agate geode is considered to be of Super Extra quality because of its beauty, formation, and aesthetically Agate bands that surround the entire Geode. An outstanding agate, this geode is sure to be an amazing addition to your crystal collection or decor space.
The agate patterns are delicate, showcasing millions of years of mineral evolution. Starting with a sea-blue agate lace, the lines gradually shift to lighter blue tones, allowing the white agate and crystal to take center stage.
Rarely seen in any form of agate are the Calcite Inclusions, taking place in the story of the agate growth and adding beauty to the landscaped specimen.

You may be wondering, how the blue lace layers formed, and this was an amazing process:
Agates normally form inside bubbles or cavities of igneous (volcanic) basalt and, over time, are filled with layers of water with high concentrations of silica. The water is slowly evaporated, forming a layer of silica gelatin and then a layer is formed. It is a very slow process and each layer contains different impurities, thus forming different colored bands. Fantastic, right?
