About

Rare Curtis Jere sculpture with mixed materials. 2 onyx birds perch on a brass nest that holds 3 marble eggs. The sculpture rests on an onyx base. The brass nest holds three eggs - 2 from onyx and 1 from marble. They are separate from each other and each removable from the nest. Two carved onyx birds are also removable from the whole and each can rotate to face any direction when on their respective spindles (which look like part of the nest when not covered by a bird).
