About the Item

A glass perfume bottle Fleurs de France for D’Orsay, designed by René Lalique and made in his glassworks, likely those located in Combs-la-ville, which was before he opened a larger scale manufacture in Wingen-sur- Moder due to continuous success. This bottle is a great example of early packaging design and is almost antedating the art deco style that should become popular within the next decade. This bottle came with various scents. Still attached on this particular bottle is the fancy lable for "Charme D'Orsay". Signed below the base in the mold "R.LALIQUE".
