About the Item

A set of Art Deco 1930s 'Coda Collection' anthropomorphic flask, or liquor bottle modelled as a Russian figure and a Lady. This "Curacao" liqueur flask was manufactured by Robj (Jean BORN known as ROBJ (1921-1931) in France. Made from polychrome enameled porcelain with a cork stopper. These are wonderful and functional pieces, one of a Russian soldier wearing a pale blue jacket with yellow buttons with rosy cheeks and a black cravat. The base is white with thin blue stripes which match the color of the jacket. And a lady dressed in the Art Deco era, in white with blushed cheeks holding a fruit basket. The flasks are stamped on the base with the manufacturer's label - 'Robj Paris. Made in France. The bottle stopper is cleverly made in the form of a hat which is difficult to spot when it's in place.
