Collection of 8 Glass And Metal German Tankards

About the Item

A collection of 8 pieces of tankards in glass with metal lids from the end of the 19th Century and beginning of the 20th Century. Probably these have been used for beer drinking. Four of these of the same model have a number printed in the metal lid that has most likely been used to differentiate the drinkers own jug in their favorite pub/bar. Etched in the glass, in some of the cups, the liter measurements that goes from 0,3 L to 0,4 to 0,5 (circa 1 pint). Some lids have marked the name of the producer under it, for example "M. Mayer", "Huttinger Straubing", "W.Schiedt". Some of the tankards are marked in the bottom with a crown logo. Height between ca. 22 and 16,5 cm, width between ca. 10 and 7 cm, depth between ca. 14 and 13 cm.
