Large 19th-Century Mediterranean Olive Oil Jar Made in Terracotta & Indigo Glaze

About the Item

A large pair of antique Mediterranean terracotta jars. Originally used for olive oil and/or wine. Deep blue glaze and terracotta patina. Will complement both modern and classic homes. The shape of the jars are unusual and particularly graceful. The glazing is fragile and more minor losses should be expected during transport. Most likely French.
