19th Century French Hand-Painted Barbotine Vase with Young Girl Figures

About the Item

This large, antique Majolica basket was sculpted in France circa 1880. The colorful pot features three young, happy girls in high relief, in different colored dresses. The sculptural, realistic vase has very fine details throughout, which includes 19th century clothes, hats, hairstyles and facial features. The rectangular-shape ceramic centerpiece is in excellent condition and adorns rich and vivid hand painted colors. Measure: 17.5" W x 6.75" D x 11" H.
