The sides are adorned with cherubs and lion heads in golden and brown tones, reflecting a classical or baroque style. The rim of the jardinière showcases an ornate scalloped pattern with a light turquoise and white glaze, accented by pink and red detailing. Lion masks, positioned as handles on the sides, add an element of grandeur and elegance. The craftsmanship reflects the 19th-century European ceramic tradition. On the bottom of the jardinière, the manufacturer's mark and the number "235" . The manufacturer of this piece is Gustave de Bruyn, a prominent ceramicist known for his intricate and colorful Majolica work.
