Early 20th Century French Walnut and Metal Plant Stand

About the Item

Found in the South of France, this 20th Century Plant Stand or Jardiniere was crafted by French Artisans from walnut in the early 1900's. Uniquely constructed, the planter base features a bowfront and back using the the bentwood technique. Resting on five legs, three in the front and two in the back, the top metal planter and support plate can easily be removed for ease of mobility and plant display. The piece presents a lower shelf for additional display. This Early 20th Century French Walnut and Metal Plant Stand with it's nice large scale is perfect for the placement of orchids, ferns or any type of plant. 53"W x 10.5"D x 35.5"H
