Lacquer Hibachi, Chrysanthemum Form

About the Item

This is a stunning Negoro Lacquer Chrysanthemum-form hibachi that dates to the Late Meiji Period, early 20th century. The hibachi is in remarkable condition, retaining its original liner and side hardware. The lacquer is in very good condition with a couple of minor blemishes that add to the beauty of this utilitarian object. This would make a super orchid display piece.
