About the Item

Midcentury Speckle Glazed Mint Ceramic Bauer Planter Executed in speckle glazed mint ceramic. A very clean and increasingly rare vintage example of Bauer's iconic "Swirl" design, reminiscent of the California coast. Originally founded in Kentucky, Bauer Pottery developed many of its iconic and colorful designs after relocating to Los Angeles, CA in the early 20th century. Drilled with three drainage holes. Retains original manufacturer's stamp on the underside of the planter. Please note that this piece is from our personal collection and was used by us as a planter; as a result, some additional age appropriate wear including water marks, mineral deposits and soiling are present. Piece is structurally sound. Some age appropriate patina, dings, scuffs and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Note minor damage on the underside of the planter featured in the listing images. Additional photos available upon request. All sales are final.
