About the Item

Pair of antique (19th century) French Napoleon III period jardinieres on stands, crafted with mahogany and tulipwood veneers, mounted with finely cast and gilt bronze mounts including grape vine edge to the square basins and Sevres style porcelain mounts with cobalt blue glazed finish and lovely painted floral bouquets with gilt borders. Each 30 1/4 inches tall and 12 1/2 inches square. Provenance : EX CHRISTIES sale 20 April 2010 lot 262 ( $15000.)
