About the Item

A vibrant 19th-century Mediterranean pottery jug featuring a rich golden yellow glaze that instantly evokes the warmth and sunlight of Southern Europe. Likely originating from Provence or Catalonia, this hand-thrown terracotta vessel was once used to store water, wine, or olive oil. The gracefully tapered form rises to a rounded shoulder and narrow neck, flanked by two arched handles that offer both balance and function.
