About the Item

Early modernist stoneware vessels designed by Anna-Lisa Thomson, for Upsala-Ekeby, Sweden, 1930s. Comprising a pitcher and four mugs in marbleized yellow outer glaze, with inside and handles glazed in orange glaze. Each marked EKEBY and form number to the bottom. Excellent condition all pieces. Dimensions: Pitcher: diameter 9.5 cm, height 15.5 cm, width with handles 15 cm Mug: diameter 6 cm, height 6 cm, width with handles 8 cm.
