Antique Chongzhen Shunzhi Transitional Chinese Porcelain Ewer, 17th Century

About the Item

A very nicely decorated and Ewer in underglaze blue. The globular body rises to a flared neck decorated with tulips and supported by a high handle. The main decoration depicts a nice river landscape and also flowers. The painting quality is one of the best we have had so far on these kind of pieces. Additional information: Material: Porcelain & Pottery Type: Ewer Region of Origin: China Emperor: Chongzhen (1627-1644) Period: 17th century China Dynasty Period Ming & Transitional (1368 – 1664) Decoration Type / Colour Blue & White Condition: fritting to rim and handle, these were all filled with paste, we removed it.
