About the Item

Beautiful antique Venetian / early Murano hand blown opalescent white and blue Italian art glass flower vase. It has a genie bottle shape, with pleated surface on the body. It has sky blue accents on the rim of the vase, and the bottom base. The opal glass it is made in what is often called "fiery Opal" because once the light hits it it shows orange on the shadows. You can see this very well in the photos with direct sunlight. Created in the manner of the Seguso Vetri d'Arte and Salviati companies. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Art Deco, Mid-century era. Measurements: 6 3/8" tall x 3 3/4" wide.
