About the Item

Art Nouveau vase - France early 20th century is an original decorative object realized in France between the 1900 and the 1914. Realized by Legras & Cie, made in France. Original opaque glass with handmade decorations. Excellent conditions. Very elegant clear glass vase realized in France in opaque glass with a small mimosa branch on the surface, the decorations are handmade on an orange/yellow marbling enamel painting in green-yellow color. The vase has a thin neck and the body that tapes upwards. The Legras-Saint-Denis manufacture 1864-1939 is founded by François Théodore Legras. Legras also dedicates himself to chemical studies, so as to be able to apply notions and technical secrets that led him to raise the signature, in commercial and artistic production, among the most important in France. The heterogeneous production of Legras includes glasses for the hospital sector and chemistry laboratories, gobeleterie, tableware, trays for desserts and cheeses, up to the original and curious liquor bottles or essences with famous shapes.
