Barovier Toso Murano Pink Gold Flecks Fan Shape Italian Art Glass Flower Vase
About the Item
Gorgeous vintage Murano hand blown pink and gold flecks Italian art glass footed fan shaped flower vase. Attributed to designer Ercole Barovier for the Barovier e Toso workshop. Created in the "Eugenio" style. The piece is made with submerged small crushed un-melted pieces of glass and color pigments. The vase is profusely covered with heavy gold leaf inside and out. The vase also has a ribbed pattern on the body and scalloped rim. The applied foot is also scalloped at the bottom, in clear glass and filled with gold leaf. Would make a great display piece on any vanity, coffee or console table. Use it as a sculptural piece, or fill it with flowers all year long. Mid-century era. Measurements: 10 1/2" long x 4 1/2" wide x 8 1/2" tall.
