Flower Frog Vase in Green Ceramic from France, 1960s. Elegant flower frog vase enameled in a beautiful olive green glaze. The shiny enamel displays different shades of green (mainly), but also light and dark brown. The vase was hand-crafted by Claude Marcaggi, also better know as "KAOL". He was a French potter who created all kind of ceramic pieces between the 1950s and the 1980s. His pottery studio was located in Génicourt, 1 hour drive away from Paris. The vase and its many holes on top allows to display fresh or dried flowers. Signed and numbered at the bottom "Claude Marcaggi" and marked with the address of the pottery studio. A very decorative piece of ceramic to place on shelves or a sideboard !
