A fine and rare pâte de verre Vase Crabes et Algues by Gabriel Argy-Rousseau, made in Paris, ca. 1920. Three iterations of a nicely modeled crabe vert cover the sides of this kiln formed vessel. It is signed in the mold "G.ARGY-ROUSSEAU" on the side and "FRANCE" under the base. A comparable Vase can be found for example in the collection of The Corning Museum of glass. ACCESSION NUMBER 2016.3.9.
