This exquisite Art Nouveau set vases by Émile Gallé in Nancy are statement pieces in the room. Signed Gallé. Original Acid Etched Double Overlay Cameo Vase. In purple over beige and salmon/pink, decorated with elegant natural motifs.   In its style, the set is French Art Nouveau. Dimensions: Vase 1: 5.51" (14 cm) Vase 2: 5.51" (14 cm) Vase 3: 3.93" (10 cm) Émile Gallé was a French glass maker and furniture designer based in his hometown. His favorite motif, which he used a lot in his work, was the plant. There were also many insect motifs.  Gallé was probably the greatest glass maker of all time and one of the founding father's of the Art Nouveau movement.
