Giacomo Balla Italian Futurist wooden Vase Decorative Item

About the Item

Giacomo Balla Decorative Item , Italian Futurism This is a rare decorative vase in wood, made in Italy in the 1990s by a "Countess Ugolini" after original drawings by Futurist Italian painter Giacomo Balla in a limited edition authorised by Balla's daughters Luce and Elica. The same artist also made eighty trays (of which one is available from our storefront), but the vases were not numbered or signed. The vase is visibly hand made and hand painted, and it's even possible to spot traces of the brushstrokes under the right light. It can be used as a vase cover for potted plants, but it's of course a wonderful artwork to be showcased on its own. It is preserved in very good conditions, and has not been touched, altered or restored in any way. Check out more about Vintage Decorative and Collectible Design pieces at Spinzi
