About the Item
"Oak" vase in embossed sterling silver.
The body of the vase is rounded, where embossing and chiselling have been carried out reproducing oak leaves and acorns. All completely hand-crafted by a master.
Before carrying out the embossing, the motifs that were to be created were drawn on the body of the vase, then with exceptional manual work, the entire design was beaten from the inside outwards obtaining this incredible result.
As a frame to the embossing, a knurling was carried out to divide the worked part from the polished part.
The outer parts have thus remained polished.
The finish is burnished and a lacquer was then applied to the entire vase with a technique called "zapponatura" so that the color of the silver remains unchanged and the object does not require cleaning with abrasive pastes.
To preserve the vase, simply dust with a soft wool cloth.
