Handmade by the skilled Italian craftsmen of the Venetian island of Murano, this one of a kind vase is a true conversation starter and perfect for that discerning connoisseur of the unique and unusual. This murano glass bird vase would perfectly complement a Hollywood regency decor theme equally as much as a modern penthouse.
Alabaster glass or "alabastro" in Italian is a term applied to semi-opaque glass which transmits the light from a source, diffusing it, but not materially altering its color. The name was applied because of the close resemblance which these glasses bear to natural alabaster - the end result is a diffused ethereal glow from within the glass itself.
