About the Item

A Japanese enamel on porcelain vase. The vase has a baluster shaped body with a fluted mouth, adorned with a polychrome design representing medallions with blossoming flowers and birds surrounded by dragonfly, floral and foliage ornaments made in the Cloisonne technique. The vase is adorned with a pair of curved handles made in a sculptural grape design. The mouth is adorned with a hand painted blue foliage ornament inside. Unmarked. Asian and Oriental Enamel Vases, Desk Wares, Home Decor, Interior Design, and Collectibles. Dimensions: H 14 1/2 in. D 7 in.
