About the Item

This contemporary artist signed black glass vase was likely done between 1980-1990 and depicts a stylized rendering of the world globe. Unfortunately the artist's signature is illegible. This black art glass vase is etched resulting in a contrast of a raised glossy black for the Continents and a matte black for the World's oceans. The vase is substantial measuring approximately one foot across and one foot high.

This very large and substantial antique wine bottle's exact origins are unknown, but it is presumed to be English or possibly Dutch and dating from the early 1700's.
