About the Item
"Large Murano Bullicante Art Glass Sculpture Vase – Triple Stacked Form, Aqua Blue"
A striking and rare Murano art glass sculpture featuring three stacked, tilted vase forms seamlessly joined into one dramatic vertical composition. Executed in rich aqua-blue (blu acquamarina) glass, the piece showcases the bullicante technique — a grid of perfectly controlled air bubbles suspended within the glass, adding depth and visual texture.
Exceptional craftsmanship is evident in the thick, crystal-clear outer casing, flawless bubble alignment, and perfectly polished rims and pontil base. The three vessel sections are hot-joined during production, not glued, demonstrating the skill of an experienced master glassmaker.
The vibrant blue fades subtly into the clear casing, catching and refracting light in a way that highlights both the sculptural form and the bubble inclusions. This unusual triple-stacked design is seldom seen in the market, suggesting either a limited production or a studio/artist’s special piece, made in Murano during the late 20th century.
