About the Item

French majolica vase designed by De Longwy. This is a very nice elaborated tall vase, created in France during the art nouveau period, back in the 1890's. The fabulous decorative vase was crafted with a round base in an hexagonal shape in polychromate majolica. Each of the six panels panel are decorated with flowers of lilies in high relief and embellished with yellow, green and blue glazed enamels. Weight: About 5 to 6 pounds Measurements: 343 mm by 165 mm by 165 mm (13.5 x 6.5 x 6.5 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark monogram, the model number, the artist enameller's signature and signed, "FRANCE 259 DL". Condition: The overall condition of this majolica vase is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage and all parts are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
