Mid-Century Asian Cloisonné Mother of Pearl Peacock Vase
About the Item
A lovely vintage Asian cloisonné vase featuring brilliant mother of pearl accents from the mid-20th century.
Large scale, having a circular top with tapered neck which leads down to a robust bulbous exterior affixed with flanking stylized figural handles, showcasing a solid black ground lined with centralized motifs comprised of visually striking mother of pearl inlays depicting peacock birds in nature. Mounted on a raised circular platform base. Signed, with makers mark, Korea, 74 marked underfoot.
