Murano Pink Green Aventurine Ribbons Italian Art Glass Mid-Century Flower Vase
About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown teal green, pink and copper twisting ribbons Italian art glass flower vase. Created in the manner of Fratelli Toso company, and designer Dino Martens. The vase has an alternating pattern of teal and pink ribbons, both lined with glittery copper aventurine. You can feel each ribbon on the surface because there is no clear glass layer over the top. The piece has a fan shape top with flattened sides (see photos). There is a pontil mark underneath, and the bottom is polished flat. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or side table. Mid-century era. Measures 9 7/8" tall x 4 1/4" long x 2 7/8" wide.
