An evocative example of 1980s art glass, this cylindrical vase was produced by Mdina Glass in Malta under the direction of Michael Harris—a pivotal figure in the development of British and Mediterranean glass design. The body is formed from fiery, marbled orange glass—deeply saturated with intermittent translucency—overlaid with vivid green glass trails, applied by hand in a loose, web-like motif.
