About the Item

Presentation to Dowager Queen Louise, widow of King Frederick the 8th of Denmark, on the occasion of her 50th anniversary as a member of the Danish royal family. She was the daughter of King Charles 15th of Sweden and Princess Louise of the Netherlands. The vase made in 1915, chosen and mounted for presentation in 1919. Signed Valdemar Engelhardt, The Silver Was Made By The Royal Silversmith Michaelson.
