Royal Worcester Aesthetic Movement Pierced Oriental Blush Spill Vase

About the Item

An unusual Royal Worcester ‘Aesthetic Movement’ porcelain pierced spill vase decorated in the oriental style with a building set amidst bamboo dated 1907. The lightly made vase is of wide cylindrical shape with a slightly recessed round base with a building set amidst tall bamboo and other tropical flowering plants in the Japonesque style and decorated with a pale brown blush glazed finish with gilding around the base and top edges. The top rim has a molded key pattern design and with a stylized wave pattern around the base rim. The vase has a printed puce maker mark to the base incorporating the date code for 1907 and is also numbered 325. In good condition.
