About the Item
This Chinese Cloisonne smoking pipe features a long, slender stem decorated with colorful cloisonné enamel, a technique involving colored-glass paste placed within metal enclosures. The pipe also includes silver fittings at both ends and a bowl at the top. It was made in about late Qing Dynasty and can be found in museum collections with name as opium pipes. It is also considered a decorative item or collectible, showcasing intricate craftsmanship.
