About the Item
Erotic folk-art walking stick, made from a single carved fruitwood branch. The knob depicts a man standing in the act of praying with folded hands and a large caricature head with a large bent nose wearing a hat. In the rear part, under the mertingale of the coat, there is a small brass knob. By rotating it, a spring releases and a strip of the coat opens, from which the man's straight penis emerges. Eyes in colored sulphurous glass. England circa 1850.
