System walking stick, fisherman’s seat, France 1900.

About the Item

System walking stick: fisherman's seat, very popular for its construction simplicity. The shaft, made of thick bamboo wood, separates into three parts. The fabric part, triangular in shape, is carried separately and at the time of use, it is fixed into the three parts of the barrel. When used, the stick is placed upside down. The fishing rod fits into the protruding ferrule, thus leaving your hands free to work on the tackle or unhook a fish. France circa 1900.
