Late 1940s American Amusement Park Car, "Little Red Convertible"
About the Item
American amusement park car, "Little Red Convertible." A late 1940s streamline design similar to a Packard or Hudson of this post war era. Solid rubber Goodyear tires on two-piece rims. No functional steering, steering wheel spins free. "Whee!" Operated on a tow or gravity system with independent sprung, turning front suspension or wheels. Solid rear axel. A solid cast aluminum body with later red paint. Very heavy 150 lbs + Renewed interior over the rusted steel original floors. Looks good from every angle. Low center of gravity.

Suit of red lacquer Japanese fighting armour of the late Edo period, (1716-1868). Desirable coral red lacquer is original and unrestored.
Composed of a helmet, (Kabuto) breast plate (Do) and shoulder, arm protection (chainmail). Displayed with a later recreation expressive face plate of modern manufacture (nose, mustache). Also displayed with (photos 3 & 4) a period red lacquer partial face plate (Hambo) with replacement throat guards. All of the assembled parts are of same age, quality and color.
